I'm a Blabbermouth
Some might think that is a bad thing, but since it helped me win a contest over at www.barbaradelinksy.com , it's a title that I will wear with honor. I told some friends about the contest and Ms. Delinksy's new book, and I'm the winner! I will recieve a signed copy of the new book, a copy of the cover....and a phone call! That is awesome! I can't think of what I would say, but I guess I'll just be honest. She is an inspiration to me having published her first book in her 30's. Besides that she writes great stories with meaning and feeling and realistic characters. I feel I learn something from each book, and I hope that I am able to convey that in a quick phone conversation. I'll post again after the actual conversation. I hope I don't blubber like an idiot.

Amy, I am SO thrilled for you! I meant to do as you asked, and I can't remember if I couldn't get into the site (a frequent happening at work now that we are blocked from more and more each day), or just forgot.
No matter, I am just very happy for you. This is a dream come true, and you deserve it! Savor each sensation.... :)

Thanks, Ally. I received confirmation that the phone call will happen next week. What to say?? I hope I can actually hold a semi intelligent conversation! And I know that her assistant looked at the blog, because she commented on it in her email to me. How cool is that???
